Boy Bands

A boy band (American English) or boyband (British English) is a style of mainly a prefabricated pop group featuring between three or six young male singers/dancers, usually five. Sometimes they come out of church choral groups, or are put together by managers or producers who audition the groups for appearance, dancing, and singing ability. They will also pick members and market them to a personality sterotype in order to attract the broadest possible audience of preteen girls.
