Agritourism a.k.a. Agritourism Have you gone on vacation and ended up picking grapes, digging for rocks or riding a farm animal? If so, then you've been an agritourist. Agritourism is a type of vacation that takes you to a place to do more than just sightsee and shop. A Dude ranch would be a form of agritourism. When you plan your next vacation, include a destination that will allow your entire family the ability to assist with farming, harvesting or helping with the process of creating an agricultural food product. |
YouTube a.k.a. youtube.com A website. Pretty much the video version of Napster, the music sharing website of old. YouTube gives everyday folks the ability to share and watch each others video clips, newsreels and home movies. Now, YouTube has become a community large enough to capture the attention of heavy hitting advertisers looking at ways of cashing in on the sheer numbers of members. Videos are tagged and can easily be searched for, watched and downloaded. Keep an eye out for lawsuits in the future due to copyright infringments. |
VioP a.k.a. Voice Over Internet Protocol In a nutshell, it's talking on the phone using an Internet connection rather than a normal phone line. Why Voip? It costs less than a long distance phone call and it can be tied into networks that already exist. Bypass long distance phone charges and talk to your buddy on the other end of a computer. Try one version at Skype.com. |
Crumping a.k.a. Krumping From what we can tell, it's a Hip Hop dance fad created in L.A. Much like breakdancing, kids dance in parking lots and on street corners showing moves that include spins, twists and flips. Many participants paint their faces in theartrical style make-up which has led to many calling it clowning or clown dancing. Crews try to out dance each other in a modern version of non-violent, gang style confrontations. |
